    What can I say? A total foodie staple for the area. I know they've been around since my parents, and of course I grew up coming here and now my daughters are bringing their husbands.

    Awesome dogs, great people and the unique old booth walls from yesteryear. And the juke box! ALWAYS must play some Led Zeppelin songs while eating away.

    There are some places people go to simply because they've not changed and it's comforting.

    I really like this place for that reason. Same consistent taste and flavors in their hot dogs, but I order mine with ketchup. My bf laughs at me, whatever, I'm from California.

    There's a jukebox but I've never seen anyone try to use it.

    I'm not saying this is the most amazing hot dog ever , but the place is super cool and nostalgic .  
    My wife was a  disappointed that the bun wasn't steamed after reading reviews about the glorious steamed buns.    In their defense they had just opened and I imagine they hadn't had time to steam the buns yet . Either way it was a good deal for a $2 hotdog . Two chili dogs and a beer for $8! Considering a hot dog in Los Angeles where I'm from costs $8, this place is a smoking deal .
    Well worth a stop.   A blast from the past.
    The girl who was running the counter was a gem!
    We will be back and at a later time.

    I don't care how "janky" this place looks or run down it seems, this place is THE BOMB! Do you want a delicious lunch? Do you want a tasty chili cheese dog? Well, I'm here to tell you George's Coney Island is the place to be. Great, fast service and tasty hot dogs. Who cares how seedy it looks? This place has character! Order two "the works" hot dogs and a bag of chips and a polar and ya set kid!

    There are not many places like this anymore. Very old school and I like that. They have a good thing going here and I had 2 dogs and a pickle for  $4 and some change. Fast and good and cheap. Easy peasy.
